Founder
Jacob has devoted his entire legal career to representing plaintiffs in civil court. His focus is on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, employment, and general litigation, including complex, coverage, and business disputes.
Known for his thorough preparation, judgment, and mastery of detail, he has earned a reputation with his clients and peers for his unmatched dedication to his cases. Jacob has handled hundreds of cases for his clients and their loved ones and has helped them recover millions in verdicts and settlements throughout his career.
Employment Background
Jacob's first position out of law school was with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where he spent six months trying misdemeanor criminal matters. This placed him in front of jurors sooner than any of his colleagues. For the next three years, Jacob litigated the personal injury files of two established law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County while he built his own practice.
In law school, Jacob served as a judicial extern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner in United States District Court. Soon after, he began his civil career with a nationally-recognized plaintiffs-only law firm, Kabateck, Brown, Kellner LLP. After graduation, Jacob received a position in the prestigious ABOTA Fellowship, which placed him with the Honorable Steven J. Kleifield in Los Angeles Superior Court, as well as with another top plaintiff's firm and a full-service defense firm.
